About
The project's inclination toward complex rhythms and mathy riffs, combined with its love for classic brazen funk and stacked harmony, fuse and melt into a hot liquid-earth, quenched only by the cool and sultry self-reflection of the lyrics and laid-back vocal delivery.
Once cooled, the slag hardens into a rare, mineral-rich ore which can only be found here. Top scientists have named this new, precious gemstone, “The Turtle Rock.”
Live
Turtle Rock is based in Northern California and available for shows throughout the Sacramento and Bay Area. Our live setup centers around guitar and vocals, accompanied by synthesizers, drum machines, sequenced elements, and vocal effects.

We can perform solo, as a duo with bass, or as a full three-piece with bass and a live drum kit, depending on the kind of show.

We can accommodate sets of varying lengths, up to about an hour.
